Refilling a Prescription
We want to process your request for prescription refills quickly. When a refill is required, you may quickly make your request by emailing our medical team at rxrefills@coloradospineinstitute.com
This email is directed to your medical team and will expedite your requests. Refills can take up to 72 hours to complete, and many medications today require pre-authorization through your medication programs to be approved.
Please contact the office before your medication has completely run out.
Please provide the following information with your refill request:
- Patient name and date of birth
- Name of medication and strength (ie – Valium 5mg tabs)
- Patient telephone number
- Pharmacy Name and telephone number
Please note that, as a policy, prescriptions are NOT refilled by phone after hours or weekends. All prescription refills are to be handled during normal business hours. Many of our providers are unavailable on Friday due to surgery, and requests should be made prior to Friday to ensure refill during the week.
